Job Description:

Line cooks at Wholly Stromboli are responsible for enhancing the lives of their teammates and guests by creating a positive work environment, following delicious recipes, and developing their skills to grow within our industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Stock and set up kitchen stations
  • Prepare food including cleaning and cutting ingredients, and cooking pasta dishes, sandwiches, sides, salads, pizzas and stromboli
  • Plating prepared foods in accordance with Wholly Stromboli brand standards
  • Working with expo to ensure that orders are completed according to Wholly Stromboli brand standards and timely 
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
  • Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
 
 
Qualifications

  • 1 year previous cooking experience in a professional and fast paced
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
  • Ability to multitask efficiently 
  • Familiar with kitchen equipment and appliances
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately 
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to work standing for 8+ hours

Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
